Interested in a four day Writing Retreat at a tranquil setting on Keats Island with the option of personal coaching by a professional published author?
Here is an opportunity to sharpen your skills, deepen your passion, and practice your craft – plus enjoy good company, amazing food, all in a spectacular setting.
Mark Buchanan will lead a “working retreat” for a small group of writers at Barnabas Retreat Center on Keats Island, BC https://www.barnabaslanding.com
Mark is the author of 11 published, award-winning books, including the bestseller The Rest of God, has 2 more books on the way, and has published over 100 magazine articles.
The retreats begin Monday, with an afternoon boat ride from Horseshoe Bay in Vancouver to Keats Island and dinner together. It ends Friday with a lunch and boat ride back to Horseshoe Bay.
All other travel arrangements are the responsibility of each couple or individual.
Our time together includes:

4 nights in lovely hotel style retreat center, quiet setting with ocean and mountain views

All meals and snacks, fresh from the farm.

The option of bringing your spouse (see below; sorry, no children or infants)

One and a half hours each day of group instruction from Mark

Several hours each day to write

Option of two 45-minute private coaching sessions with Mark (Only 6 spots available)

Several hours each day to rest, relax and enjoy your surroundings

Opportunities each evening to gather together to read and discuss your writing
This event is limited to a maximum of 12 writers at any skill level, so please register quickly. Only 6 spots for coaching sessions.
Costs: (Plus GST)
$1700 – Per person, Single Occupancy plus 1 coaching session
$1550 – Per person, Double Occupancy plus 1 coaching session
$1600 – Per person, Single Occupancy, no coaching
$1450 – Per person, Double Occupancy, no coaching
