All our writing – fiction, opinion pieces, sermons and poems -- flows from clarity about our own identity and personal history; thus the craft of memoir and spiritual autobiography is perhaps where all writing should begin.
MAB: Finding Your Inner Poet.
Mark will teach on the craft of writing, and especially how to get the most from each sentence.

Gordon T. Smith is a theologian, writer and professor; he is a Teaching Fellow at Regent College. Gordon is the author of a number of publications, including the most recent: Your Calling Here and Now: Making Sense of Vocation (IVPress 2022).
Mark A. Buchanan is an author and professor known for his captivating storytelling and insightful reflections on faith and life. With numerous books to his name, including The Rest of God and God Walk, Mark brings a wealth of experience and wisdom to the world of writing.
